Duties and Responsibilities: Radiologist technologists perform diagnostic imaging examinations, such as x rays, on patients. MRI technologists operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to create diagnostic images.
Salary: $55,910 per year and $26.88 per hour

Education: An associate’s degree is the most common educational path for radio logic technologists. Most MRI technologists start out as radio logic technologists and specialize later in their career. Technologists must be licensed or certified in some states; requirements vary by state.
